MindTree gains after mulling bonus issue proposal

MindTree rose 2.23% to Rs 1,532 at 11:33 IST on BSE after the company scheduled a board meeting on 18 January 2016 to consider issue of bonus shares.

The announcement was made after market hours yesterday, 13 January 2016.

Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was down 127.01 points, or 0.51% to 24,727.10

On BSE, so far 21,300 shares were traded in the counter, compared with an average volume of 19,519 shares in the past one quarter. The stock hit a high of Rs 1,535 and a low of Rs 1,481.15 so far during the day. The stock had hit a record high of Rs 1,605 on 24 September 2015. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 1,154.40 on 27 April 2015. The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 13 January 2016, rising 3.18% compared with 0.76% fall in the Sensex. The stock also outperformed the market in past one quarter, gaining 6.09% as against Sensex's 7.42% decline.

 

The large-cap IT services company has an equity capital of Rs 83.83 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.

MindTree unveils its Q3 December 2015 results on 18 January 2016. MindTree's consolidated net profit rose 14.47% to Rs 158.20 crore on 16.72% rise in total income to Rs 1188.80 crore in Q2 September 2015 over Q1 June 2015.
