MindTree leads gainers on BSE's 'A' group

GHCL, Firstsource Solutions, Great Eastern Shipping Company and MphasiS are among the other gainers in the BSE's 'A' group today, 18 January 2018.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 394.48 points, or 1.12% to 35,476.30.

MindTree surged 9.55% at Rs 683. The stock topped the gainers in 'A' group. On the BSE, 3.39 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 42,000 shares in the past two weeks.

MindTree surged after consolidated net profit rose 13.4% to Rs 141.50 crore on 3.5% rise in net sales to Rs 1377.70 crore in Q3 December 2017 over Q2 September 2017. The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 17 January 2018.

 

GHCL spurted 5.22% at Rs 339.65. The stock was the second biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 2.70 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 1.14 lakh shares in the past two weeks.

Firstsource Solutions jumped 4.74% at Rs 45.30. The stock was the third biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 37.52 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 17.38 lakh shares in the past two weeks.

Great Eastern Shipping Company climbed 4.45% at Rs 458.15. The stock was the fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 87,000 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 45,000 shares in the past two weeks.

MphasiS rose 4.36% at Rs 792.60. The stock was the fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 20,000 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 19,000 shares in the past two weeks.
