We are hoping that the Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Bill, 2016 will be cleared by the Rajya Sabha during the winter session of Parliament, said Mr Malik.

It is a downward trend because in 20115 till 12th of December, the deaths were 1622 and the last year it was 1509 and we are less by 89 and the number of fatal accidents less by 76.

This awareness campaign we have also tied up with comics like diamond comics and many publishers and animation companies have come forward. We are trying to create some kind of creativity which can give settle message in the form of comics or films or cartoons which we can run on social media.
