Mukand fell 5.02% to Rs 31.25 at 10:56 IST on BSE on profit booking after the stock surged 36.51% in the preceding six trading sessions to Rs 32.90 on 15 April 2014, from a recent low of Rs 24.10 on 3 April 2014.
Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was up 15.36 points, or 0.07%, to 22,500.29.
On BSE, so far 26,000 shares were traded in the counter, compared with an average volume of 32,280 shares in the past one quarter.
The stock hit a high of Rs 33 and a low of Rs 30.65 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 34.45 on 15 April 2014. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 16 on 2 August 2013.
The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 15 April 2014, rising 55.92% compared with the Sensex's 3.10% rise. The scrip had also outperformed the market in past one quarter, rising 40.30% as against Sensex's 5.62% rise.
