Mukta Arts jumps after turnaround in Q2

Mukta Arts spurted 13.8% to Rs 107.60 at 10:19 IST on BSE after the company reported consolidated net profit of Rs 9.40 crore in Q2 September 2017, compared with net loss of Rs 4.90 crore in Q2 September 2016.

The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 29 November 2017.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 230.05 points or 0.68% at 33,372.71.

On the BSE, 3.20 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 17,193 shares in the past one quarter. The stock had hit a high of Rs 110 and a low of Rs 102.65 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 120 on 22 June 2017 and a 52-week low of Rs 76.50 on 11 August 2017.

 

Mukta Arts' consolidated net sales rose 43.2% to Rs 37.11 crore in Q2 September 2017 over Q2 September 2016.

Mukta Arts is primarily engaged in the business of film production, distribution and exhibition.
