Multibase India announced that the Company is a subsidiary Company of Multibase S.A., a French Company (holding 75% equity shareholding in the said Company), which in turn is an indirect subsidiary of Dow Corning Corporation, a US based corporation.It is stated that two US based corporations namely Corning Incorporated and Dow Holdings LLC prior to the restructuring each hold a 50% equity interest in Dow Corning Corporation.
Based on the information provided to it, the Company notify that there has been a restructuring of the ownership of Dow Corning Corporation (ultimate holding Company of the said Company) which will become effective from 01 June 2016. As a result Dow Holdings LLC will become a 100% owner of Dow Corning Corporation.
