NBCC (India) rose 3.73% to Rs 75.05 at 15:11 IST on BSE after the company received an order worth about Rs 250 crore from Steel Authority of India.
The announcement was made during market hours today, 16 August 2018.Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 168.61 points or 0.45% at 37,683.39
On the BSE, 8.61 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 6.91 lakh shares in the past two weeks. The stock had hit a high of Rs 75.85 and a low of Rs 71.35 so far during the day. The stock had hit a record high of Rs 145.88 on 8 November 2017 and a 52-week low of Rs 60.80 on 18 July 2018.
The large-cap company has equity capital of Rs 180 crore. Face value per share is Rs 1.
NBCC (India) said that the company has bagged an order from Steel Authority of India (SAIL) worth Rs 250 crore for the construction of Ispat Post-Graduate Medical Institute and Super-Speciality Hospital at Rourkela Steel Plant, Rourkela. NBCC will plan & design the building as a 'Steel Intensive' structure and execute the works as Project Management Consultant using green and energy-efficient technologies.

Seperately, NBCC said it has secured the total business of Rs 228 crore (approx) in the month of July 2018.
