New order triggers upmove in Inox Wind

Inox Wind rose 3.63% to Rs 359.50 at 15:13 IST on BSE after the company said it has secured an order for a 50 megawatts wind power project in Rojmal in Gujarat from Gujarat Mineral Development Corp.

The company made the announcement during market hours today, 30 September 2015.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 396.91 points or 1.54% at 26,175.57.

On BSE, so far 16,000 shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 35,570 shares in the past one quarter.

The stock hit a high of Rs 362.10 and a low of Rs 345.40 so far during the day. The stock had hit a record high of Rs 494.70 on 17 April 2015. The stock had hit a record low of Rs 315 on 25 August 2015.

 

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till 29 September 2015, sliding 3.53% compared with Sensex's 2.33% fall. The scrip had also underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 18.01% as against Sensex's 6.75% fall.

The mid-cap company has equity capital of Rs 221.92 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.

On consolidated basis, Inox Wind's net profit rose 115.1% to Rs 50.50 crore on 109.1% growth in net sales to Rs 633.77 crore in Q1 June 2015 over Q1 June 2014.
