At Neyveli
Neyveli Lignite Corporation has inaugurated a 10 MW solar power project at Neyveli, the first renewable energy project of the company. The cost of the project is Rs 74.60 crore. This power plant is installed in an area of 54 acres with 48,000 solar photo voltaic modules each with the power generating capacity of 240 watts.
