NHPC standalone net profit rises 12.47% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales decline 16.55% to Rs 1136.90 crore

Net profit of NHPC rose 12.47% to Rs 189.42 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 168.42 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales declined 16.55% to Rs 1136.90 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 1362.44 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit declined 1.32% to Rs 2758.65 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 2795.59 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales declined 4.64% to Rs 6934.03 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 7271.17 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
