Turnover on NSE's F&O segment jumps
The April 2017 futures on the Nifty 50 index traded at 9163, at a premium of 26.60 points compared with the Nifty's spot closing of 9136.40 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment jumped to Rs 7.39 lakh crore from Rs 5.20 lakh crore registered during previous trading session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index rose 32.90 points or 0.36% to settle at 9,136.40, its highest closing level since 17 April 2017.
Yes Bank, Sun TV Network, The India Cements, State Bank of India and Jain Irrigation Systems were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Yes Bank April 2017 futures traded at 1553.25, at a premium over spot closing of 1545.50. Sun TV Network April 2017 futures traded at 902.50, at a premium over spot closing of 900. The India Cements April 2017 futures traded at 188.80, at a premium over spot closing of 188.75.

The April 2017 F&O contracts will expire on 27 April 2017.
