Nifty December 2018 futures at steep premium

Turnover in F&O segment declines

The Nifty December 2018 futures traded at 10,931, a premium of 47.25 points from the Nifty's closing of 10,883.75 in the cash market.

Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment was reported at Rs 4.25 lakh crore, compared with Rs 4.39 lakh crore reported in the previous trading session.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index rose 7 points or 0.06% to settle at 10,883.75

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Hindustan Unilever and Yes Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries December 2018 futures traded at 458, compared with spot closing price of 455.50. Hindustan Unilever December 2018 futures traded at 1,837.75, compared with spot closing price of 1836. Yes Bank December 2018 futures traded at 179, compared with spot closing price of 178.15.

 

The December 2018 F&O contracts expire on 27 December 2018.
