Nifty December futures trade at premium

Turnover on NSE's F&O segment rises

The Nifty December 2017 futures traded at 10,227, a premium of 34.05 points over Nifty's spot closing of 10,192.95 in the cash market.

Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment jumped to Rs 8.38 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 4.53 lakh crore registered in the previous session.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index fell 47.20 points or 0.46% to settle at 10,192.95.

Sun TV Network, State Bank of India (SBI), Tata Global Beverages, Titan Company and Reliance Industries (RIL) were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Sun TV Network December 2017 futures traded at 921, at a premium over spot closing of 919. SBI December 2017 futures traded at 313.90, at a premium over spot closing of 313.35.

 

Tata Global Beverages December 2017 futures traded at 286.10, at a premium over spot closing of 284.80. Titan Company December 2017 futures traded at 821.75, at a premium compared with spot closing of 821.60. RIL December 2017 futures traded at 919.35, at a premium over spot closing of 914.75.

The December 2017 F&O contracts expire on 28 December 2017.
