Turnover on NSE's F&O segment rises
The Nifty January 2018 futures traded at 10626, a premium of 2.40 points over Nifty's spot closing of 10623.60 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 3.94 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 3.66 lakh crore registered in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index advanced 64.75 points or 0.61% to settle at 10,623.60, its record closing high.
Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Wockhardt, Reliance Capital, Titan Company and Jindal Steel & Power were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.
Sun Pharmaceutical Industries January 2018 futures traded at 593, at a premium over spot closing of 591.50. Wockhardt January 2018 futures traded at 993, at a premium over spot closing of 989.70. Reliance Capital January 2018 futures traded at 616.55, at a premium over spot closing of 613.45.

Titan Company January 2018 futures traded at 930, at a premium over spot closing of 924.70. Jindal Steel & Power January 2018 futures traded at 256.40, at a discount from spot closing of 256.45.
The January 2018 F&O contracts expire on 25 January 2018.
