Nifty July 2014 futures fall below 7600

Turnover spurts

Nifty July 2014 futures were at 7538, at a premium of 44.80 points over spot closing of 7493.20. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment jumped to Rs 429290.46 crore from Rs 244346.67 crore on Wednesday, 25 June 2014.

HDFC Bank July 2014 futures were at 826.40, at a premium over spot closing of 814.05.

Reliance Industries July 2014 futures were at 1025.50, at a premium over spot closing of 1017.75.

ICICI Bank July 2014 futures were at 1421.75, at a premium over spot closing of 1407.05.

In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty tumbled 76.05 points or 1% to settle at 7,493.20, its lowest closing level since 5 June 2014.

 

The July 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 31 July 2014. The near-month June 2014 derivatives contracts expired today, 26 June 2014.
