Turnover on NSE's F&O segment rises
The Nifty July 2018 futures traded at 10647.50, a discount of 9.80 points compared with the Nifty's spot closing of 10657.30 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 5.62 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 4.35 lakh crore registered in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index fell 57 points or 0.53% to settle at 10,657.30.
Tata Steel, ICICI Bank and State Bank of India were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Tata Steel July 2018 futures traded at 552.30, at a discount from spot closing price of 559.10. ICICI Bank July 2018 futures traded at 277.25, at a discount from spot closing price of 277.30. State Bank of India July 2018 futures traded at 261.20, at a premium from spot closing price of 260.
The July 2018 F&O contracts will expire on 26 July 2018.
