Nifty June 2017 futures trade at premium

F&O segment turnover at Rs 4.41 lakh crore

The June 2017 futures on the Nifty 50 index traded at 9684.80, a premium of 20.90 points over the Nifty's spot closing of 9663.90. Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment was at Rs 4.41 lakh crore.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index rose 26.75 points or 0.28% to settle at 9,663.90, its highest closing level since 5 June 2017.

Infosys, TCS, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India and Cadila Healthcare were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Infosys June 2017 futures traded at 963.95, at a premium over spot closing of 959.30.

 

TCS June 2017 futures traded at 2578.95, at a discount over spot closing of 2613.95. ICICI Bank June 2017 futures traded at 323.75, at a discount over spot closing of 324.95.

State Bank of India June 2017 futures traded at 291.40, at a premium over spot closing of 290.90. Cadila Healthcare June 2017 futures traded at 535.30, at a premium over spot closing of 534.95.

The June 2017 F&O contracts will expire on 29 June 2017.
