Turnover on NSE's F&O segment rises
The Nifty June 2017 futures traded at 9657.65, a premium of 24.05 points compared with the Nifty's closing of 9633.60 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 5.03 lakh crore from turnover of Rs 3.34 lakh crore registered on Tuesday, 20 June 2017.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index lost 19.90 points or 0.21% to settle at 9,633.60, its lowest closing level since 16 June 2017.
Reliance Industries (RIL), Tata Steel, Reliance Capital, L&T and State Bank of India (SBI) were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. RIL June 2017 futures traded at 1431.90, at a premium over spot closing of 1427.75. Tata Steel June 2017 futures traded at 519.40, at a premium over spot closing of 517.50.
Reliance Capital June 2017 futures traded at 626, near spot closing of 624.80. L&T June 2017 futures traded at 1760.40, at a premium over spot closing of 1752.80. SBI June 2017 futures traded at 290.90, near spot closing of 290.60.
