Turnover on NSE's F&O segment slumps
The May 2017 futures on the Nifty 50 index traded at 9,420.45, a premium of 19.55 points compared with the Nifty's spot closing of 9,400.90 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment dropped to Rs 3.71 lakh crore from Rs 7.49 lakh crore registered during previous trading session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index lost 21.50 points or 0.23% to settle at 9,400.90, its lowest closing level since 9 May 2017.
Yes Bank, DLF, State Bank of India (SBI), Tata Steel and Axis Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.
Yes Bank May 2017 futures traded at 1496, at a premium over spot closing of 1491. DLF May 2017 futures traded at 209, near spot closing of 208.90. SBI May 2017 futures traded at 297.60, at a discount from spot closing of 297.85.

The May 2017 F&O contracts will expire on 25 May 2017.
