Turnover on NSE's F&O segment surges
The Nifty November 2017 futures traded at 10410.05, a premium of 59.90 points over Nifty's spot closing of 10350.15 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 6.84 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 4 lakh crore registered in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index fell 101.65 points or 0.97% to settle at 10,350.15, its lowest closing level since 31 October 2017.
Lupin, Tata Motors, State Bank of India (SBI), Reliance Industries (RIL) and Yes Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Lupin November 2017 futures traded at 866, at a premium over spot closing of 860.10. Tata Motors November 2017 futures traded at 454.80, at a premium over spot closing of 451.70.
