Turnover on NSE's F&O segment rises
The Nifty November 2017 futures traded at 10,365.15, a premium of 62 points over Nifty's spot closing of 10,303.15 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 8 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 6.84 lakh crore registered in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index fell 47 points or 0.45% to settle at 10,303.15, its lowest closing level since 25 October 2017.
Bharti Airtel, Arvind, Tata Motors, Axis Bank and State Bank of India (SBI) were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Bharti Airtel November 2017 futures traded at 497.20, at a premium over spot closing of 496.30. Arvind November 2017 futures traded at 416.20, at a premium over spot closing of 414.50.
Tata Motors November 2017 futures traded at 442.90, at a premium over spot closing of 440.50. Axis Bank November 2017 futures traded at 550.50, at a premium over spot closing of 547.75. SBI November 2017 futures traded at 314.60, at a premium over spot closing of 312.55.
