Turnover on NSE's F&O segment rises
The Nifty November 2017 futures traded at 10,231.20, a premium of 44.60 points over Nifty's spot closing of 10,186.60 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 4.99 lakh crore, lower compared with the turnover of Rs 4 lakh crore registered in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index fell 38.35 points or 0.38% to settle at 10,186.60, its lowest closing level since 23 October 2017.
Tata Global Beverages, State Bank of India (SBI), Reliance Industries (RIL), Axis Bank, and Bharti Infratel were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Tata Global Beverages November 2017 futures traded at 247.30, at a premium compared with spot closing of 246.40. SBI November 2017 futures traded at 331, at a premium compared with spot closing of 329.05.
RIL November 2017 futures traded at 891.80, at a premium over spot closing of 887.50. Axis Bank November 2017 futures traded at 550, at a premium compared with spot closing of 547.60. Bharti Infratel November 2017 futures traded at 396.05, at a premium over spot closing of 394.75.
