Nifty November futures trade at premium

Turnover on NSE's F&O segment jumps

The Nifty November 2017 futures traded at 10,264, a premium of 49.25 points over Nifty's spot closing of 10,214.75 in the cash market.

Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment jumped to Rs 10.26 lakh crore, higher compared with the turnover of Rs 6.96 lakh crore registered in the previous session.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index rose 96.70 points or 0.96% to settle at 10,214.75, its highest closing level since 13 November 2017.

State Bank of India (SBI), Reliance Industries (RIL), DLF, Reliance Infrastructure and Infosys were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. SBI November 2017 futures traded at 335.50, at a premium compared with spot closing of 333.95. RIL November 2017 futures traded at 907.80, at a premium compared with spot closing of 905.25.

 

DLF November 2017 futures traded at 211.10, at a premium over spot closing of 209.95. Reliance Infrastructure November 2017 futures traded at 445, at a discount compared with spot closing of 446. Infosys November 2017 futures traded at 991, at a premium over spot closing of 989.95.

The November 2017 F&O contracts expire on 30 November 2017.
