Turnover on NSE's F&O segment increases
The Nifty September 2017 futures traded at 9919.50, a premium of 6.65 points compared with Nifty's spot closing of 9912.85 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment jumped to Rs 4.69 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 3.26 lakh crore registered on Friday, 1 September 2017.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index fell 61.55 points or 0.62% to settle at 9,912.85, its lowest closing level since 30 August 2017.
Reliance Capital, Reliance Industries, Vedanta, Sun TV Network and Tata Steel were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Reliance Capital September 2017 futures traded at 818.75, at a premium over spot closing of 818. Reliance Industries September 2017 futures traded at 1615, at a premium over spot closing of 1615.

The September 2017 F&O contracts expire on 28 September 2017.
