Turnover on NSE's F&O segment jumps
The Nifty September 2017 futures traded at 10,137.10, a small premium of 15.20 points over Nifty's spot closing of 10,121.90 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment spurted to Rs 11.6 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 4.31 lakh crore registered yesterday, 20 September 2017.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index fell 19.25 points or 0.19% to settle at 10,121.90, its lowest closing level since 15 September 2017.
Divi's Laboratories, Tata Steel, Dr Reddy's Laboratories, Vedanta and Reliance Capital were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

Dr Reddy's Laboratories September 2017 futures traded at 2,485.15, at a discount compared with spot closing of 2,490. Vedanta September 2017 futures traded at 324, at a premium over spot closing of 322.70. Reliance Capital September 2017 futures traded at 723.25, at a premium compared to spot closing of 720.15.
The September 2017 F&O contracts expire on 28 September 2017.
