Japanese share market closed higher on Thursday, 15 January 2015, registering first gain in three consecutive sessions, as investors chased for bottom fishing on recently oversold stocks, thanks to stability in the dollar and global oil prices. The Nikkei Stock Average advanced 312.74 points, or 1.86%, to 17108.70.
