NTPC announced after market hours yesterday, 23 June 2015, that Unit no. 1 of 250 megawatts (MW) of Bongiagaon Thermal Power Project has been commissioned on 22 June 2015. With this, the total installed capacity of Bongiagaon Thermal Power Project has become 250 MW and the total installed capacity of NTPC group crosses 45 GW and has become 45048 MW.

Hindustan Unilever (HUL) has reportedly advanced discussions with Mosons Extractions to buy the Indulekha brand of hair care products for around Rs 500 crore. The purchase of Indulekha will help HUL re-enter the lucrative market for hair grooming oils, reports added.
GMR Infrastructure has reportedly joined a long list of companies that have asked banks to restructure their loans under the 5/25 scheme as they are unable to meet their debt servicing commitments due to an economic slowdown.
