Opto Circuits (India) gained 2.46% to Rs 60.30 and topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group. The stock rose on volume of 15.63 lakh shares, higher than an average daily volume of 9.72 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Tata Motors advanced 2.26% to Rs 262.75 and was second biggest gainer in 'A' group. The stock rose on volume of 16.19 lakh shares, higher than an average daily volume of 8.48 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Zee Entertainment Enterprises gained 1.89% to Rs 204.50 and was third biggest gainer in 'A' group. The stock rose on volume of 2.17 lakh shares, higher than an average daily volume of 1.60 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Castrol India advanced 1.8% to Rs 311.85 and was the fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group.
Hindustan Zinc rose 1.64% to Rs 117.60 and was the fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group.
