Orient Cement standalone net profit declines 22.46% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 3.86% to Rs 619.74 crore

Net profit of Orient Cement declined 22.46% to Rs 12.81 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 16.52 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 3.86% to Rs 619.74 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 596.68 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit reported to Rs 44.22 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against net loss of Rs 32.10 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 18.54% to Rs 2222.34 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 1874.75 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
