Orient Green Power Company shed 2.65% to Rs 11.39 at 10:30 IST on BSE on equity dilution concerns after the board approved preferential allotment of 5.83 crore equity shares at Rs 14.56 each to the two separate entities.

The preferential allotment price of Rs 14.56 per share is at a premium of 24.44% compared with the stock's closing price of Rs 11.70 on BSE yesterday, 28 September 2015.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 275.90 points, or 1.08%, to 25,340.94.
On BSE, so far 6,500 shares were traded in the counter, compared with an average volume of 92,444 shares in the past one quarter.
The stock hit a high of Rs 11.39 and a low of Rs 11.15 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 20.10 on 20 January 2015. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 9.95 on 8 September 2015.

The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 28 September 2015, falling 1.6% compared with 2.94% fall in the Sensex. The scrip had however underperformed the market in past one quarter, dropping 14.47% as against Sensex's 7.89% fall.
The small-cap stock has an equity capital of Rs 568.08 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.
Orient Green Power Company said that the allotment committee of the board has approved preferential allotment of 5.83 crore equity shares at Rs 14.56 each to the two separate entities. The company will allot 3.43 crore shares to Janati Bio Power, which is a promoter group. Further, the company will allot 2.40 crore shares to Forefront Capital Management, which belongs to category of public corporate bodies.
On a consolidated basis, Orient Green Power Company reported net loss of Rs 53.38 crore in Q1 June 2015 compared with net loss of Rs 26.12 in Q1 June 2014. Total income dropped 25.7% to Rs 111.52 crore in Q1 June 2015 over Q1 June 2014.
