Page Industries in fashion on decent Q3 results

Page Industries gained 3.73% to Rs 20,050 at 14:51 IST on BSE after net profit rose 32.63% to Rs 83.39 crore on 18.02% rise in total income to Rs 626.34 crore in Q3 December 2017 over Q3 December 2016.

The result was announced during market hours today, 8 February 2018.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 382.62 points, or 1.12% at 34,465.33.

On the BSE, 2,185 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 2,794 shares in the past one quarter. The stock had hit a high of Rs 20,437.80 and a low of Rs 19,315.05 so far during the day. The stock had hit a record high of Rs 25,779 on 19 December 2017. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 13,650.10 on 18 April 2017.

 

The board of directors of the company declared payment of interim dividend of Rs 35 per share for the year ending 31 March 2018 (FY 2018).

The board of directors appointed Chandrasekar K as Chief Financial Officer of the company with effect from 8 February 2018.

(USA) for manufacture and distribution of the JOCKEY brand innerwear/leisurewear for men and women in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and UAE. Page Industries is also the exclusive licensee of Speedo International for the manufacture, marketing and distribution of the Speedo brand in India.
