Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 335.07 points, or 1% to 33,798.04.Page Industries surged 8.67% at Rs 24,545.95. The stock topped the gainers in 'A' group. On the BSE, 1,519 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 2,019 shares in the past two weeks.
Bombay Dyeing and Manufacturing Company spurted 7.18% at Rs 285.85. The stock was the second biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 28.90 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 11.60 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Adani Enterprises jumped 5.65% at Rs 163.50. The stock was the third biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 29.75 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 8.68 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Sundram Fasteners climbed 5.23% at Rs 565. The stock was the fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 57,000 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 22,000 shares in the past two weeks.
Sobha rose 5.07% at Rs 603.55. The stock was the fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 91,000 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 78,000 shares in the past two weeks.
