PC Jeweller leads losers in BSE's 'A' group

GMR Infrastructure, Just Dial, Vakrangee and Jindal Saw are among the other losers in the BSE's 'A' group at 12:15 IST today, 2 February 2018.

PC Jeweller slumped 16.16% to Rs 405.45. The stock topped the losers in 'A' group. On the BSE, 1.1 crore shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 4.99 lakh shares in the past two weeks. The company issued clarification during market hours today, 2 February 2018, that it is not aware of reason of sudden decrease in price of shares today. The company continues to witness very good footfalls and sales in the current quarter as well, it added. None of the promoters diluted their stake in the company and none of their shares are pledged as collateral with any institution, it added.

 

GMR Infrastructure lost 10.33% at Rs 20.40. The stock was the second biggest loser in 'A' group. On the BSE, 1.04 crore shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 65.65 lakh shares in the past two weeks.

Just Dial skidded 10.04% at Rs 460.75. The stock was the third biggest loser in 'A' group. On the BSE, 10.78 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 6.69 lakh shares in the past two weeks.

Vakrangee was down 9.99% at Rs 263.10. The stock was the fourth biggest loser in 'A' group. On the BSE, 25,000 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 8.34 lakh shares in the past two weeks.

Jindal Saw dropped 9.95% at Rs 136.15. The stock was the fifth biggest loser in 'A' group. On the BSE, 9.86 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 6.23 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
