Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd fell 3.75% today to trade at Rs 179.9. The S&P BSE Power index is down 1.5% to quote at 1870.82. The index is down 4.58 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, NTPC Ltd decreased 1.86% and NHPC Ltd lost 1.84% on the day. The S&P BSE Power index went down 0.53 % over last one year compared to the 12.2% surge in benchmark SENSEX.

On the BSE, 1.26 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 4.32 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 216.2 on 01 Aug 2019. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 173.05 on 14 Feb 2019.
