Pricol fell 2.47% to Rs 79.05 at 10:47 IST on BSE after net profit dropped 69.25% to Rs 5.03 crore on 13.44% fall in total income to Rs 322.01 crore in Q1 June 2017 over Q1 June 2016.
The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 22 August 2017.Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 134.62 points, or 0.43% to 31,426.47. The S&P BSE Sensex was up 133.47 points, or 0.87% to 15,522.09.
On the BSE, 48,000 shares were traded in the counter so far, compared with average daily volumes of 48,743 shares in the past one quarter. The stock had hit a high of Rs 79.95 and a low of Rs 78 so far during the day. The stock hit a record high of Rs 115.35 on 10 February 2017. The stock hit a record low of Rs 75.75 on 23 May 2017.
The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till 22 August 2017, falling 10.44% compared with 2.3% decline in the Sensex. The scrip, however, outperformed the market in past one quarter, rising 3.78% as against Sensex's 2.36% rise.
The small-cap company has equity capital of Rs 9.48 crore. Face value per share is Re 1.
