Prism Informatics announced that the Company has received a request letter from Dr Ramesh Subramaniam to classify from "Promoter category" to Public shareholding category. Dr Ramesh presently holds 13,866 shares of Re 1 each constituting 0.06% of paid up share capital of the Company.Dr Ramesh is promoter of Idhasoft, erstwhile holding company and the promoter of the company, Idhasoft acquired 74.08% of shares of the Company by way of open offer and became promoter of the Company. Subsequently, Idhasoft reduced its stake in company and ceased to be subsidiary of company.
Dr Ramesh was added as promoter by way of adding his name in shareholding pattern of company as permitted by SEBl takeover Regulation, 1997.
With change in definition of promoter under the Takeover code, 2011 and Idhasoft ceasing to be subsidiary of company. Dr Ramesh wish to reclassify himself from "Promoter and Promoter Group" to "Public Category". His request of reclassification has been accepted by the company.
