Out of the total 881.13 million wireless subscribers, 753.47 million were active on the date of Peak VLR for the month of November 2013. The proportion of Visitor Location Register (VLR) subscribers is approximately 85.51% of the total wireless subscriber base reported by the service providers.
Service Provider wise, Idea leads the tally with 99.4% followed by Vodafone (96.2%) and Bharti (96.0%). Loop has the lowest proportion of VLR with 46.3%. Circle-wise, Maharashtra has the highest proportion of VLR subscribers with 90.67% followed by West Bengal (89.77%) and M.P. (89.39%). Tamil Nadu (incl. Chennai) has the lowest VLR proportion with 74.55%.
