PTC India fell 1.35% to Rs 94.35 at 15:16 IST on BSE after a bulk deal of 28.57 lakh shares was executed on the scrip at Rs 94.45 per share at 14:45 IST on BSE.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 67.34 points, or 0.2% at 33,947.59. The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 36.48 points, or 0.2% at 17,984.31.
Bulk deal boosted volume on the scrip. On the BSE, 29.18 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 1.79 lakh shares in the past two weeks. The stock had hit a high of Rs 96.10 and a low of Rs 93.25 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 130.20 on 21 September 2017. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 82.75 on 26 March 2018.
The small-cap company has equity capital of Rs 296.01 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.
PTC India's net profit spurted 38.45% to Rs 58.94 crore on 44.64% increase in net sales to Rs 4412.48 crore in Q3 December 2017 over Q3 December 2016.
