Radico Khaitan gains after bulk deal

Radico Khaitan rose 1.58% to Rs 86.55 at 15:07 IST on BSE after a bulk deal of 6.60 lakh shares was executed on the scrip at Rs 86.40 per share at 10:43 IST on BSE today, 1 June 2016.

Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was up 41.52 points, or 0.16%, to 26,709.48

Bulk deal boosted volume on the scrip. On BSE, so far 6.99 lakh shares were traded in the counter as against an average volume of 50,126 shares in the past one quarter. The stock hit a high of Rs 89.15 and low of Rs 85.15 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 130.90 on 20 November 2015. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 78.10 on 29 June 2015. The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till 31 May 2016, falling 3.4% compared with Sensex's 4.14% gains. The scrip also underperformed the market in past one quarter, sliding 10.08% as against Sensex's 15.94% gains.

 

The small-cap company has an equity capital of Rs 26.61 crore. Face value per share is Rs 2.

Radico Khaitan's net profit slipped 0.9% to Rs 14.77 crore on 10.4% rise in net sales to Rs 367.17 crore in Q4 March 2016 over Q4 March 2015.

Radico Khaitan is one of India's oldest liquor manufacturers.
