RCom leads gainers on BSE's 'A' group

Jaiprakash Associates, IFCI, HDIL and Unitech are among the other gainers in the BSE's 'A' group today, 29 December 2017.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 143.65 points, or 0.42% to 33,991.68.

Reliance Communications (RCom) surged 13.66% at Rs 35.19. The stock topped the gainers in 'A' group. On the BSE, 5.34 crore shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 4.13 crore shares in the past two weeks. RCom announced that it has signed definitive binding agreements with Reliance Jio Infocomm for sale of wireless assets. The announcement was made after market hours yesterday, 28 December 2017.

 

Jaiprakash Associates spurted 8.62% at Rs 25.20. The stock was the second biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 1.17 crore shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 85.65 lakh shares in the past two weeks.

IFCI jumped 8.39% at Rs 31. The stock was the third biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 67.57 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 33.41 lakh shares in the past two weeks.

Housing Development & Infrastructure (HDIL) climbed 8.38% at Rs 64.05. The stock was the fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 70.09 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 26.56 lakh shares in the past two weeks.

Unitech rose 6.62% at Rs 8.70. The stock was the fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 1.64 crore shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 1.22 crore shares in the past two weeks.
