Reliance Communications Ltd rose 4.47% today to trade at Rs 1.87. The S&P BSE Telecom index is up 1.31% to quote at 1008.72. The index is down 2.91 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Ltd increased 3.45% and Bharti Infratel Ltd added 2.01% on the day. The S&P BSE Telecom index went down 21.47 % over last one year compared to the 11.28% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
