Reliance Communications Ltd gained 4.09% today to trade at Rs 1.78. The S&P BSE Telecom index is up 1.08% to quote at 979.49. The index is down 0.24 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, GTPL Hathway Ltd increased 2.91% and Optiemus Infracom Ltd added 2.69% on the day. The S&P BSE Telecom index went down 10.18 % over last one year compared to the 7.36% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
