Total capacity of Sasan is now 3,300 MW
Reliance Power announced that Boiler Light up has been achieved in respect of the Fifth 660MW unit of the 3,960 MW (6X660 MW) Sasan Ultra Mega Power Plant (UMPP) being developed by Sasan Power, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.With this the total capacity of Sasan is 3,300 MW. Four 660 MW are already operational while the remaining sixth unit is in advance stage of construction and will be commissioned over the next few months.
