Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 133.82 points, or 0.41% to 32,450.53.Religare Enterprises surged 7.64% at Rs 47.20. The stock topped the gainers in 'A' group. On the BSE, 98,000 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 5.12 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals spurted 6.92% at Rs 474.40. The stock was the second biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 5.20 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 6.88 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Welspun India jumped 5.44% at Rs 66.85. The stock was the third biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 1.57 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 1.75 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Bombay Dyeing and Manufacturing Company climbed 5% at Rs 217.55. The stock was the fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 2.36 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 6.68 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Carborundum Universal rose 3.41% at Rs 334. The stock was the fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 17,000 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 42,000 shares in the past two weeks.
