Renaissance Jewellery hit an upper circuit limit of 20% at Rs 91.55 at 15:27 IST on BSE after consolidated net profit rose 183.80% to Rs 9.11 crore on 12.29% rise in net sales to Rs 302.86 crore in Q2 September 2015 over Q2 September 2014.
The result was announced after market hours on Friday, 30 October 2015.
The announcement was made during trading hours today, 2 November 2015.
Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was down 80.99 points, or 0.30%, to 26,575.84.
On BSE, so far 1.56 lakh shares were traded in the counter, compared with an average volume of 7,481 shares in the past one quarter.

Renaissance Jewellery said its US-based subsidiary, Verigold Jewelry, announced a licensing agreement with US-based Hallmark Cards, Inc. As part of this partnership, Verigold and Hallmark will launch the Heart of Hallmark jewelry collection this fall at approximately 150 JCPenney retail locations in the US.
The Heart of Hallmark collection is the first collection to launch under the Hallmark Diamonds brand. Each unique piece comes with premium gift packaging which includes a customizable card that individuals can sign and date as a keepsake of the gift, the company said.
In the US, Hallmark greeting cards and gifts are sold through leading mass retailers, the network of Hallmark Gold Crown specialty stores and online.
