Reliance Industries was down 0.68% at Rs 1172.5 at 13:21 IST on BSE, extending recent losses.
Meanwhile, S&P BSE Sensex was up 1.49 points at 37,308.30.
On BSE, 2.30 lakh shares were traded in REC counter, compared to a 2-week average of 3.94 lakh shares. The share price hit an intraday high of Rs 1184.85 and an intraday low of Rs 1167.2. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 1417 on 03 May 2019. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 1017 on 25 Oct 2018.
Shares of Reliance Industries (RIL) plunged 8.43% in seven trading sessions to its current market price of Rs 1172.5, from a recent closing high of Rs 1280 on 22 July 2019.
The company will hold its annual general meeting (AGM) on 12 August 2019.
On consolidated basis, RIL's net profit was up 6.8% to Rs 10,104 crore on a 21.9% increase in net sales to Rs 156976 crore in Q1 June 2019 over Q1 June 2018.
