Turnover on NSE's F&O segment rises
The Nifty January 2018 futures traded at 10,635.15, a premium of 2.95 points over Nifty's spot closing of 10,632.20 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 5.96 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 4.67 lakh crore registered in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index dropped 4.80 points or 0.05% to settle at 10,632.20, its lowest closing level since 8 January 2018.
Jet Airways (India), DLF, Reliance Industries (RIL), TCS and Tata Steel were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.
Jet Airways (India) January 2018 futures traded at 843.90, at a premium over spot closing of 842. DLF January 2018 futures traded at 269.55, at a premium over spot closing of 268.65. RIL January 2018 futures traded at 942.55, at a premium over spot closing of 941.50.

TCS January 2018 futures traded at 2,798.20, at a discount over spot closing of 2,803. Tata Steel January 2018 futures traded at 775.80, at a premium over spot closing of 773.80.
The January 2018 F&O contracts expire on 25 January 2018.
