Sanghvi Movers slides after multiple bulk deals

Three bulk deals aggregating to 2 lakh shares were executed on the Sanghvi Movers counter at an average price of Rs 109.93 per share at opening bell on the BSE today, 7 December 2011.

Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was up 18.52 points, or 0.11%, to 16,823.85

On BSE, 2.01 lakh shares were traded in the counter. The stock had an average daily volume of 10,527 shares in the past one quarter.

The stock hit a high of Rs 111.45 and a low of Rs 103 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 185.80 on 6 December 2010 and a 52-week low of Rs 100 on 30 November 2011.

 

The small-cap stock underperformed the market over the past one month till 5 December 2011, falling 13.56% compared with Sensex's 4.31% decline. The scrip had also underperformed the market over the past one quarter, declining 13.56% as against Sensex's 0.55% rise.

The company's current equity is Rs 8.66 crore. Face value per share is Rs 2.

Sanghvi Movers' net profit fell 40.8% to Rs 14.51 crore on 22.6% rise in net sales to Rs 109.28 crore in Q2 September 2011 over Q2 September 2010.

Sanghvi Movers is the largest crane services company in India.
