Siti Cable Network rose 0.86% to Rs 35.15 at 10:35 IST on BSE after HDFC Mutual Fund bought 90 lakh shares of the company at an average price of Rs 34.65 per share in a bulk deal yesterday, 16 June 2015 on the NSE.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 113.39 points or 0.42% at 26,799.90.
On BSE, so far 46,000 shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 1.23 lakh shares in the past one quarter.
The stock was volatile. The stock rose as much as 2.43% at the day's high of Rs 35.70 so far during the day. The stock was unchanged at the day's low of Rs 34.85 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 39.25 on 10 March 2015. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 24.70 on 8 October 2014.
The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 16 June 2015, sliding 0.99% compared with the Sensex's 2.33% fall. The scrip had also outperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 4.26% as against Sensex's 6.16% fall.
The small-cap company has equity capital of Rs 67.76 crore. Face value per share is Re 1.
HDFC Mutual Fund bought 90 lakh shares of Siti Cable Network at an average price of Rs 34.65 per share in a bulk deal yesterday, 16 June 2015 on the NSE. Goldman Sachs India Fund sold 89.69 lakh shares of the company at an average price of Rs 34.65.
On consolidated basis, Siti Cable Network reported net loss of Rs 45.31 crore in Q4 March 2015, higher than net loss of Rs 20.86 crore in Q4 March 2014. Net sales rose 9.1% to Rs 250.49 crore in Q4 March 2015 over Q4 March 2014.
Siti Cable Network is engaged in distribution of television channels through analogue and digital cable distribution network, primary internet and allied services.
