SRF rose 0.79% to Rs 1,456.40 at 9:45 IST on BSE after consolidated net profit rose 22.39% to Rs 113.21 crore on 3.5% increase in total income to Rs 1226.68 crore in Q1 June 2015 over Q1 June 2014.
The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 6 August 2015.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 21.56 points or 0.08% at 28,276.57.
On BSE, so far 19,722 shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 27,858 shares in the past one quarter.
The stock hit a high of Rs 1,486 and a low of Rs 1,444.30 so far during the day. The stock had hit a record high of Rs 1,495.55 on 5 August 2015. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 598 on 8 August 2014.
The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 6 August 2015, rising 9.28% compared with Sensex's 0.32% gain. The scrip had also outperformed the market in past one quarter, gaining 51.58% as against Sensex's 5.92% gain.

The board has further approved converting the HFC 134a plant at Bhiwadi into a swing plant to produce both HFC 134a and HFC 32 at an estimated cost of Rs 12 crore to produce both HFC 134a and HFC 32.
